After a quiet stretch filled with travel and transitions, we’re returning to the circle - softly, simply.
This month’s Open Book Club is less about reading and more about being. There’s no assigned book. Just a shared space for reflection, conversation, and the kind of depth that can only arise when we’re not trying too hard.
To guide our gathering, we’ll read two luminous poems by the mystic Al-Hallaj: verses full of longing, intimacy, paradox, and devotion. From there, we’ll open the floor to whatever each of us brings: a line that moved you, a question you’re sitting with, or simply your presence.
No preparation is needed. Come as you are.
“I saw my Rabb with the eye of my heart.
I said: Who are you?
He said: You.”
